Stallion Station, a magnificent 400 acre property formerly known as Cornwall Park, is strategically located only 40 kilometres north-west of Melbourne and 20 minutes from Tullamarine airport.
The brainchild of prominent Perth businessman, breeder and owner Gary Lyons, Stallion Station is unique in the world of standardbred breeding being the only establishment to have stallions only in residence. It is also the only non-Government quarantine base in Victoria.
The farm operates as a collection and distribution centre with facilities to stand up to 20 sires. Fresh and frozen semen is delivered by couriers to studs, veterinary practices, AI technicians and individual breeders all over Australia and New Zealand within hours of collection.
Stallion Station boasts state-of-the-art breeding facilities, with advanced semen collection, storage and handling facilities, operated by experienced and professional staff. In 2006 we branched out to Western Australian, standing three stallions at our new western base, Lark Hill Vets, Serpentine. Other initiatives include sponsorship of the Fremantle Trotting Cup, one of Perth’s two Grand Circuit events.
Stallion Station is committed to offer breeders not only the best available stallions, but a wide range of bloodlines and service fees to suit any budget. As we move forward we invite you, our friends and clients, to join us at Stallion Station in breeding better horses and in breeding for profit. Our team is dedicated to assisting you to achieve your breeding goals. We continually strive to provide broodmare owners with the best possible service.
