The whole place was abuzz as he investigated his new home. Les Joslin, Marketing Manager for Stallion Station, described him as a striking individual, fine-boned and boasting a powerful physique and great conformation. He just has an amazing presence about him.

Mister Big has just completed his first season at stud in North America where he covered a full book of mares at the prestigious Tara Hills Stud, in Ontario in Canada at a $Can7,500 fee. He will stand his first Southern Hemisphere season for $7,700 including GST in Australia and $7000 plus GST in New Zealand.

The incomparable Mister Big, who was recently inducted into the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame, is without doubt one of the greatest pacers ever.

He amassed $4,135,492 in stakes during his 85-start career and twice earned more than a million dollars in a single year. In 2008 he banked $1.53million, while in 2007 he earned $1.3million – both single year records when set.

A son of Grinfromeartoear and the Jate Lobell mare World’s Sweetheart (dam of 3 in 1:53), Mister Big was twice named USTA Aged Pacer of the Year and paced an amazing 17 race-winning miles in 1:50 or better.

Mister Big equalled the all-aged world record of 1:48 on a five furlong track when he won the $500,000 Ben Franklin at Harrah’s Chester last year.

Of Mister Big's 34 lifetime wins, 16 were at Group or Listed level including the $532,000 Breeders Crown, the $330,000 US Pacing Championship twice, the $170,000 Allerage Pace (three times), the $200,000 Dan Patch Invitational, the $700,000 Canadian Pacing Derby, the $317,000 Bobby Quillen Memorial and the $650,000 William Haughton Free-for-all twice.

Mister Big contested three consecutive Breeders Crown finals, finishing second at aged three and four and winning the five-year-old leg.

Majestic Son - The Best of the Best

Majestic Son is the best son of the leading North American trotting sire Angus Hall. Not only is he the richest son but he also has the fastest 3yo mark, a time of 1.52.4 winning the $900,000 Canadian Trotting Classic beating Glidemaster by more than 6 lengths.

He won 11 of his last 13  3yo starts culminating in beating Glidemaster in the $500,000 Breeders Crown. In his 3yo season he had 14 wins with earnings of $1.2m.

Majestic Son was voted Canada's Horse of the Year in 2006 and was also the 3yo Trotting Colt of the Year. This season breeders are able to take advantage of a unique opportunity to breed to the very best young trotting sire via fresh semen.

Majestic Son has a small crop of very impressive rising yearlings (by frozen semen) in NZ. Well respected trotting affectionardo Wes Davies (he also stood Grant Our Wishes) says "I'm delighted with my Majestic Son filly, I'll be sending my mare back at $7,000 he's great value. I have also talked my trainer and some of his clients into going there."
